Happy Happy Tuesday readers! The weather's nice, the sun's out, exactly why fall is a fashionista's playground! Now, previously we introduced the idea of interviews and showcasing local talent back in August when DIYmonds&Pearls first started blossoming, and we felt it's time that we introduce some of the emerging talent of fashion's future!

We've come across an absolutely inspirational team of entrepreneurs that have started a clothing line that has flourished into a lifestyle, and we have an exclusive interview with them about the vision, progress, and phenomenon that is IJayApparel!

The team is composed of a few talented folks that invited me to one of their photoshoots for a quick pow-wow; Ilbert Sanchez - Founder , Judy - Marketing Strategist, Ace - Street Team Rep & Austin Millz - Brand Ambassador Music Producer.

When asked who IJayApparel served, and why he believed it was necessary in the fashion world, Founder, Ilbert Sanchez enthusiastically stated  "the line is clean cut, like me. That's my style. It's made for those working a 9-5, and a 5-9 too! We're THAT needle in a haystack. We're on the come up!". Ilbert recently began working for Vibe Magazine, promising a bright future for the brand.

The business seems to making quite an impact, attracting customers nationwide. The very popular "Empire Tee" has been especially successful, being stapled as the "Center of NYC", highlighting the clothing lines humble beginnings, and even paying homage to the Roman Empire.  Street Team Representative, Ace states that the line even has a "european feel" to it, "It's clean and chic. It's serious, but it's very creative". The Empire Tee and the Very Rare tee's are our personal favorites. Simple but definitely a statement piece.

...And when we say business, we mean business! Not only does IJayApparel produce clothing, but their  successful events and fabulous marketing make this team one to look out for. Not to mention Austin Millz who hails from the same community IJayApparel developed in, and has sprung onto the music scene creating a "timeless feel".  Millz incorporates fashion into his brand, mixing his live beats with the philosophy of "loyalty & grind".

The thing that struck us most about the IJayApparel team (aside from them being so fabulously dressed) was their dedication to and focus on the vision, showing true passion. We love that the brand is rooted deep in NYC, making its success a story that all of us can get a feel for. It's clean, sharp, quality, and real, something we wish we saw more of in the industry.

If you havent noticed, IJayApparel is an empire in the making....And DIYmondsandPearls LOVES to be ahead of the curve, so this won't be the last collaboration you see from us!  Check out the video below where you can get a peek at some exclusive footage from the interview as well as a peek of a few pieces from IJayApparel. "IJayApparel is a lifestyle. A community even. It isn't only urbanwear, and it isn't only right now. Something was missing in fashion, and it was IJayApparel".
