This post is perfect for all my naturalistas
- but my transitioning and relaxed girls can get into this too ;). Recently I've done a side swept updo and blew out my natural hair to get a straighter look. However, too straight was just too dull!

A quick and easy way to get long lasting volume without any heat... Rod set!!! On my first attempt, I two strand flat twisted my hair to the desired side and secured the hanging hair with three rods, one per twist.

When I pulled out my hair the next day, it resulted in a loose curl at the ends with a straighter look on the rest of the hair. But you know me... Volume volume volume!! So last night I chose to cut my twists in half forming two rows of three twists. I secured all the free ends this time using six rods and the results this morning were magicallll!! I have more curls all over giving a look that's still loose but more interesting than just the normal blow out.

For best results, apply a hair lotion or setting solution to the hair before twisting and securing rods in hair. Allow rods to set overnight or add heat for faster setting time. Stay beauty-full <3
