Happy Monday loves!

I hope you all enjoyed your TurkeyDay! I know I had waaay too much to eat, and way too much fun this weekend! Below is my outfit from Black Friday where I attended an upscale All Black Affair.

I've had this amazingggg faux
fur that I've been dying to wear so I paired it with a long sleeve crop and a bodycon midi skirt. Topped it off with my new favorite accessories, a chunky gold choker and a long spiked necklace, both from Urban Outfitters. And of course I couldn't forget my lipstick! It was a fabulous night, and I must say, all black has never felt so chic!

Floral Bandeau - DIY

Yesterday was a beautiful day in the city, and I took the opportunity to visit the Hudson River Park. Absolutely amazing and relaxing scenery! Here's yesterday's outfit of the day, and a little visual candy in the background.

I paired a royal blue maxi skirt with a white sleeveless button down, quirky hair, a bandeau i DIYed, and my favorite vintage bag. and army candy, you can never have enough arm candy :P

Tip: Primary colors may seem a little predictable but try using a vibrant blue or red as your bottom to bring an unexpected surprise to your outfit. And when working with a maxi skirt, be sure to position it at a place on your torso so it defines your waistline. Right above the navel is a great spot for females on the taller side.

DIY: Chic Jewelry Holder

Its almost 5pm bloggers! That means start your countdown until you get to indulge in intense DIY-ing! Am I the only one who does that? Hm, well here's a fun & easy tutorial for those who've piled up tons and tons of rings/bracelets over the years.

Tools:

• All you need is a hot glue gun, small sized bowls (i used small dip bowls from target - $4 each) and Glass pillar candlestick holders ($2 at target).
• Turn the bowl upside down and use the hot glue gun (Be careful, it's not called a hot glue gun because it's cold!) to glue around the rim of the small end of the candle holder, attaching the candlestick holder to the bottom of the bowl.
• Keep the bowl upside down for an hour or so, maybe placing some books on top to keep it in place while the glue dries.
• Viola! Modern and Chic jewelry holders for under $10! :)
