As you're probably fully aware (by the drastic attack by mother nature), we are WELL into the fall season! If you haven't begun already, fall shopping is absolutely necessary, as this season's trends resemble nothing like we've seen before. There's something for every kind of fashionista this fall/winter, so indulge, and be great!
Below are a few of my favorite trends, the majority transferring from the runway to the sidewalk. Enjoy!
Oxblood
This season's full of rich, and deep tones. The most prominent being Oxblood (also known as burgundy/deep red). You'll see every part of your ensemble in this color in the coming months. Easily paired with leather, neutral tones, dark green or bright pink for a bold take!
Leather
This season you can catch the ever so fabulous Leather making appearances in much more than your riding boots and leather coats. Trying a full skirt or skinny pants in this fabric will have you both chic and edgy. Pair with cotton or softer fabrics for a more everyday look.
Camoflage
Honestly, camo's and cargo never really out of season but you can definitely see it a lot more this fall as more military and rustic styles come into play. Throw an oversized jacket over a dainty dress for an unexpected twist, or pair with an oversized tee, for a casual day out.
Tights
Just because it's getting colder out doesn't mean you don't have time to squeeze in the few summer dresses/skirts that you bought at the end of August! Tights are huge this season, ranging in design and texture. Try ombre tights with a mini or high wasted shorts for a fun night out, or rock a pair of cable knit tights with an oversized sweater for a day in class.
Even though these are just a few of my favorites, what are a few of yours? You'll absolutely a fair share of elbow patches, black and white achromatic outfits, and deep lips in the approaching months. This season promises to be one of fashion's most chic, enjoy and happy fall!
